High Quality 300mm x 210mm x 3.4mm Poplar Plywood Boards (approximately A4), Note board are approximately 3.4mm +/- 0.2mm
Cut to a length / width tolerance of +/- 2mm though to be honest we would be unhappy if our digitally controlled laser guided saw was ever out by more than a millimetre
Every board is hand inspected prior to packing. Some boards may have plugs where knots have been replaced but it is very rare we GUARANTEE that at least one side is plug free.
Grade B ply can, technically, have open knots up to 6mm on one or both sides. Again we GUARANTEE that neither side will have open knots.
Ply can be susceptible to warp, especially thinner ply. Mild warp can be controlled by placing a heavy weight on the board and leaving for a while, or you can wet the concave side of the board with a spray of some hot water and put that side down with a heavy weight on the board for a day or so. Again if the warp was pronounced we would reject the board at the packing stage.
Do please bear in mind Poplar Plywood is a natural product and there may be some variation to the colour of the boards and even the colour on the face of the board that can in some unusual cases have an almost two-tone effect. There may also be some minor blemishes, we cannot police that..
