SUITABLE FOR ALL PIPE’s MATERIAL: Arctic Hayes 240v 8-28mm Electric MINI Pipe Freeze Kit can freeze Copper, Iron, Lead or Plastic pipes. Freeze times are super-fast on copper pipes. Initial ice-plug forms in around 10 minutes for 8mm pipes, approx. 20 minutes for 28mm pipes.
EASY & SAFE TO USE: Just connect the freeze heads to the pipework, upstream and down-stream of the area you want to work on. Very soon two solid ice plugs will be formed allowing you to carry out your repair quickly and efficiently. It is safe to use, you can leave the machine unattended and as long as it is connected to the mains, the freeze will continue indefinitely unlike a gas freezing method, without danger of ice melting and flooding.
